Owner and Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
Haley Burleigh is the owner and ASHA certified speech language pathologist at The Happy Kid Speech Therapy. She intentionally works with a small caseload to offer highly personalized care by providing home based evaluations and treatment sessions, flexible scheduling, and direct access to communicating with her outside of therapy sessions to share updates and ask questions. Sessions are play based and child centered, utilizing each child’s unique interests and play styles to make therapy motivating, engaging, and FUN! At the Happy Kid Speech Therapy, you are more than just a number.
Practicing since 2013, Haley has years of experience working in various settings including public schools, autism therapy centers, and outpatient medical clinics giving her well-rounded knowledge. She is a mother of two young children, giving her an empathetic and compassionate perspective as she works with parents navigating new territory as their child enters therapy.
She was awarded her Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2011, and her Master’s in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2013. Fully licensed in the state of North Carolina and certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association, she is ready to work with you and your family.
